Ingredients:
1 16oz bag frozen peas
1 8oz bar of frozen paneer, cut into cubes
3 medium tomatoes
2 medium onions
3 tablespoons sour cream
4 cardamom
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
2 anise stars
¼ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons garam masala
Steps:
1 16oz bag frozen peas
1 8oz bar of frozen paneer, cut into cubes

3 tablespoons sour cream
4 cardamom

Steps:
1. Heat 2 teaspoons oil and sauté paneer until golden brown. Set aside.
2. Chop 2 medium onions and 3 medium tomatoes into large chunks.
3. In a blender, blend the onions and tomatoes into a paste until all chunks disappear.
4. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Once hot, add the following:
- 4 cardamom
- 4 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 anise stars
5. Immediately add tomato onion mixture and stir.
6. Cover and cook on medium high until liquid evaporates to become smooth paste, stirring occasionally, 10-15 minutes.
7. Remove cover, add the following and cook on medium heat 3-4 minutes:
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- Peas
8. Add 2½ cups water, 3 tablespoons of sour cream, and bring to a boil.
9. Add paneer cubes and cover. Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
